Bag sizes:

Not all clothes compress the same

Fluffy items like puffer jackets, knits, or jumpers: You can shrink them by up to 80%.
Dense fabrics like denim or heavy cotton: Expect around 20% compression.

A fully packed bag can be around 15 cm thick and slim down to just 5 cm after compression. That’s a whole lot of space saved.
